The Black Horse, Climping is a 17th century pub, and a popular haunt for locals to gather, a well-loved and welcoming place for the community, families and visitors to the area.
We have restored, polished and retained as many original features as possible while adding our touch with a custom built pewter bar, a double sided wood burner stove, deep sofas and a gloriously pink private room, to create a 'clymping great pub'

"We past the Black Horse on route to the beach and decided to pop back if we earn lunch. OMG what a great decision!! The specials menu lamb croquette was unreal and the spicy Guiness and cheese soup was honestly the best thing I have eaten in some while. Easy parking, fab service, wonderful presentation and the pooch allowed to snooze under the table - it does not get any better!"
